A Piece of Dada is a collective film realised within the framework of the study group Opera Corruption: On Tricks, Tricksters and Charms led by Pauline Curnier Jardin and Sara Giannini in collaboration with If I Can’t Dance I Don’t Want to Be Part of Your Revolution at the Dutch Art Institute during the academic year 2017/2018. The film is the result of a year-long investigation into various themes circling around the themes of the course, via a range of workshops, performance/writing exercises and readings, which culminated in the development of a methodology for collective script-writing and the realization of the script by all course members and tutors. The experimental film will be shown again at the Forum for Live Art in Amsterdam in September 2018.
