Pink Feminism Bachelor Thesis, Publication, Amsterdam 2015
A publication as an extension to my Bachelor Thesis Pink Feminism, in which I critically analyzed feminist identities within contemporary art, especially in correspondence with pop culture and the then recent feminism buzz in the media. The text focused on commercializations of feminisms, the bad reputation of the term, and the development of a hyper-feminine aesthetic within younger, digital manifestations of feminist ideals.
I edited the text and made a publication reminiscent of a glossy lifestyle-magazine. It features visual material including a fashion editorial which featured a collection of embroidered and silkscreened garments, based on feminist theories, pop-culture and news relating to the subject.
